Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez (September 2nd, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actor as well as film producer. Her career began in Mexico with her starring role in the telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she was awarded an Ariel Award nomination. She quickly made herself known in Hollywood with appearances in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) as well as Dogma (1999). Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo who is a painter, in Frida (2002), a biographical film she produced which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award as well as British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and acted in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the following years.
